This week my mother lost her father; my grandfather, two years ago she lost her husband; my father and a friend of mine also lost her husband this week, so it is fair to say that this week has been a downer. I had an amazing forty plus years with my father before he passed and my grandfather made it to 91 years old, we do have a lifetime of memories to cherish but that doesn’t make it easier to grieve.
Today you might not be as happy as you would have liked to be, you might be broke, in debt or facing other set back in your life but you are here and alive and that counts. Instead of dwelling on our life’s problem we should remind ourselves that we should enjoy every precious moment with our loved ones. We get one life. There is no dress rehearsal and no second chance so it is important to make the most of the time we have. Forget about life’s little set back and make every moment count for the ones we love; the miracles in our lives, can become memories when we least expect.
“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” ― Albert Einstein
